compensation Summary

- Overtime is paid at 1.5x the regular rate for hours worked beyond the normal shift, for work on days off, and for travel on days off (minimum 4 hours). Special double-time (2.0x) rates apply for certain voluntary overtime shifts (LOU #14).
- On-call and voluntary on-call shifts have specific pay structures, including 0.33x regular wages for on-call, and 1.5x if called in.
- Allowances include duty allowances for Check Pilots, Training Pilots, and Base Safety Pilots (Appendix B), a $20,000 annual Northern Allowance for Moosonee base pilots, and $100 for working Christmas or New Year's Day.
- Long Term Service Recognition provides monthly payments based on years of service (e.g., $25.75/month at 5 years, up to $437.75/month over 30 years).
