- Vacation: Paid as a percentage of gross earnings, increasing with seniority (4% up to 4,499 hours, 6% up to 8,999 hours, 8% up to 17,999 hours, 10% at 18,000+ hours), with maximum days (14-35) based on hours worked. - Paid holidays: 10 statutory holidays; Groups A/B receive 4% premium on all hours worked; Group C per Canada Labour Code. - Social leave: Paid leave for bereavement (up to 5 days), marriage (2 days), birth/adoption (2 days). - Parental/maternity/paternity/adoption leave: As per Quebec Parental Insurance Plan. - Health and safety: Joint committee, employer-paid training, and provision of all required PPE (including prescription safety glasses and work boots, with replacement policy). - Equipment allowance: 1.2% of previous year's gross earnings (max $400, rising to $425 in 2026) for winter gear/equipment, cumulative if unused. - Retirement: Employer and employee contributions based on hours worked (3% up to 5,999 hours, 4% up to 11,999 hours, 5% at 12,000+ hours).

- Regular hours: 8 hours/day at base rate; overtime (over 8 hours/day, weekends, holidays) at 1.5x base rate. - Work schedules: 12 hours' pay for 11 hours' work per shift; extra pay for working through meal breaks. - Pay is by direct deposit weekly; detailed pay statements provided. - Night premium: $2.00/hour (8pm-8am); cargo hold premium: $1.50/hour. - Amarreur (mooring) premiums: minimum 3-6 hours' pay for off-hours work; chief amarreur gets extra pay for calls. - Salary scales (Annex D): e.g., Journalier/Amarreur: $26.41/hr (2023-24), $27.33/hr (2024-25), $30.79/hr (2025-26), $31.94/hr (2026); higher rates for skilled positions. - Special training rate: $34.91/hr for designated training tasks (Lettre d’entente 1). - Signing bonus: 2.5% of 2024 earnings (excluding retroactive pay), paid within 30 days of contract signing (Lettre d’entente 2). - Overtime bank: Employees can bank overtime for paid leave, up to $5,000 value. - Only authorized overtime is permitted.

This collective agreement is between QSL Canada Inc. (the Employer) and the Syndicat des Métallos Section Locale 7065 (the Union). It covers all longshore workers involved in cargo handling at the federal dock, Alcoa dock, and Alcoa terminal in Baie-Comeau, excluding maintenance, office, and supervisory staff.
