- Paid Holidays: 15+ designated holidays, including National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Indigenous Peoples Day. Extended health and dental (100% employer paid). Eligibility after 30 days of continuous employment.

compensation Summary

- Overtime: Time and one-half for the first two hours, double time thereafter for full-time employees. Part-time/casual employees receive overtime after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. - Overtime/standby can be banked up to 10 days per year, with excess paid out. - Pay: Employees are paid at least the applicable rate for their position, biweekly by direct deposit. Acting pay is provided for higher duties (minimum 3 days), at the higher of the minimum salary for the acting position or 110% of current salary. - Promotions: Minimum 4% salary increase or as authorized by the CAO. - Reporting pay: Minimum 4 hours at straight time for scheduled shifts, or 2 hours at overtime rate for unscheduled work. - Standby pay: 1 hour at straight time for standby after a regular day, 1.5x for standby on a day of rest/holiday. - Part-time pay is pro-rated based on hours worked relative to standard hours for the classification.
