Benefits include: - Personal and medical leave: Up to 5 personal days/year (3 paid after 3 months), up to 27 weeks medical leave, and up to 10 paid medical leave days/year (with carryover or payout options). - Vacation: 1 day/month (max 10 days) for <1 year; 2 weeks (4%) for 1-2 years; 3 weeks (6%) for 2-5 years; 4 weeks (8%) for 6-10 years; 5 weeks (10%) for 11+ years. Vacation pay is a percentage of gross earnings. - Bereavement: 5 days (immediate family), 3 days (other family), 1 day (extended family). - Special leave: Maternity/paternity, moving, unpaid personal leave, and holidays (10 statutory holidays, paid at 1/20 of previous 4 weeks' earnings or regular day for maintenance group). - Retirement: Employer matches employee RRSP contributions (2-4% depending on service), with vesting after 24 months. - Health insurance: Employer and employees share costs 50/50 for supplemental health and dental. Compensation is detailed in Article 38 and includes: - Chauffeurs: Paid according to seniority and type of work (local, highway, team, US/Canada, etc.), with detailed hourly and mileage rates. Example: Local chauffeurs start at $6.67/hour for 0-23 months, increasing with seniority. Mileage rates, loading/unloading, and various premiums (e.g., for long distance, special routes, waiting time, and over 6th/7th day worked) are specified. Daily minimum guarantee is $300. Overtime/bonus: 50% premium for 6th/7th day worked if the normal week is completed. - Maintenance Group: Hourly wage grid by job class (A/B/C/Apprentice) and hours worked. Example: Mechanic Class A starts at $36.16/hour (0-2080 hrs), rising to $38.66/hour (6242+ hrs). Similar grids for welders, parts, janitors, and commissionaires. - Additional bonuses for special loads, team driving, and specific vehicle types. Route expense allowance is $0.115/mile (indexable).

This collective agreement is between Transport A. Laberge et Fils Inc. and Gestion Transport A. Laberge et Fils Inc. (the employer) and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local 869, District 11 (the union). It covers all employees except office staff, management, and dispatchers at the Lachine and Levis locations. The agreement is effective from August 7, 2023, to August 6, 2027.
