benefits Summary
The employer maintains the current group insurance plan covering all employees after probation, with the employer paying 100% of the base plan cost. Participation is mandatory except for family coverage which is optional. The retirement plan is maintained as is unless changes apply to all employees. Employees receive uniforms including shirts, pants, caps, winter coats, and a boot purchase credit up to $200. Vacation, sick leave, social leaves, and parental leaves are covered as per the collective agreement. The employer provides a collective agreement booklet to employees after probation. There is also a solidarity fund savings plan with payroll deductions available to employees.
compensation Summary
Salaries are paid biweekly via direct deposit. Salary rates and classifications are detailed in Annex A. There are hourly premiums including a night shift premium of $3.00 per hour and an overnight premium of $1.00 per hour. Per diem of $80 is paid for overnight stays away from home. Salary increases are scheduled as follows: 6% retroactive to August 1, 2024, 4% on April 1, 2025, 3.5% on April 1, 2026, 3.5% on April 1, 2027, and 3% on April 1, 2028. Starting wages for 2024 are $32.00 for CDL-A, $30.00 for CDL-B, and $26.00 for Non-CDL positions.

The collective agreement is between Stericycle (Establishment of Saint-Remi) located at 81, rue Roch-Lecuyer, Saint-Remi, Quebec, and the Teamsters Quebec Local 1999 union. The agreement comes into effect on October 7, 2024, and expires on October 6, 2029. It continues to apply during negotiation periods until renewal or exercise of strike/lockout rights.
