Vacation, statutory holidays, family event leaves, maternity, paternity, parental leaves, and unpaid leaves are covered in Articles 12 to 16. Health and safety provisions and uniforms are addressed in Article 17, including an annual uniform budget of $500 (increasing to $600 in 2027). Social benefits are detailed in Article 18. Occasional employees gain seniority after 2080 hours worked and become eligible for collective insurance after meeting hour and weekly work thresholds. They also have rights to social and statutory holidays if they coincide with scheduled workdays.

The normal workweek is 40 hours from Sunday to Saturday. Overtime is paid at time and a half for hours worked beyond 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, applicable to local transport and yardmen. Pay scales for local drivers, yardmen, and long-distance drivers are detailed in Annex A with scheduled increases from 2024 to 2029. Additional premiums include team leader ($1.25/hr), trainer ($1.00/hr), warehouse manager ($1.25/hr), night shift ($0.75/hr), and live poultry transport ($1.00/hr). A Christmas bonus of $100 is paid to employees who have completed their probation and worked for at least one year. Meal allowances of $10 per day are provided.

The collective agreement is between Sunnymel GP (the Employer) located at 465, rue Principale Clair, Nouveau-Brunswick, and Section Locale 501 of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (the Union) located at 2825, boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel, Quebec. The agreement is effective from its signing date in 2024 and remains in force until December 31, 2030.
